The research team found that the risk of death from any cause decreased by 4% for every additional 15 minutes of exercise (above the baseline 15 minutes), up to 100 minutes/day. For example, daily exercise of 30 minutes added approximately four potential years to life expectancy. (The Lancet, 2011)
